NEW SKYFALL INTERNATIONAL TRAILER

Tuesday is Monday

Today is my Monday as I took yesterday off to enjoy what was a beautiful weekend up in Tobermory.   I am looking forward to this coming weekend which is also a long weekend as we celebrate Civic Day which is historically tied to the abolishment of slavery.  Ironically all retail outlets are open but thats the topic of another post.

This weekend I look forward to some actual leisure time and I'm going to see the Dark Knight Rises again simply because I can.  Total Recall is coming up in a few days which I may see as well.

Looking forward to a short but busy week.  I am on day 23 of the Blodgett Slim Trim plan and look forward to breaking the 220 mark this week.   Lots of posts to come.  Have  a great Tuesday.

Blue Lagoon

I had a great day on Sunday out in Tobermory. Took a boat ride out to Flowerpot Island but along the way we passed by a few of the sunken ships that are in the harbour which have never been removed. For those who have never been to The Mory, which I have officially renamed, the water is pretty well crystal clear like some of the carribean islands. After viewing the ship wrecks we headed for Flowerpot where I spent the rest of day swimming in water, hiking and of course photographing the awesome sites. After the afternoon we headed back to shore for some snacks and shopping. Here's a few teaser pictures. Lots more on the trip to come.

At the Mory

Great day here in the Mory yesterday. We headed out from Thornburny around noon and after a couple stops along the way we arrived just in time for the 3 o'clock check in.  After unpacking a weeks worth of baggage for a two day trip we headed done to Blue Heron to grab some tickets for the sunset cruise.  Mission accomplished!

Now it was time for some food.  We ventured over to ShipWreck Lee's for some fish and chips where we met the Captain Luke who served up a mighty hardy meal before us pirates headed out for the voyage.

At dusk we boarded our ship for a two hour must see ride down to the scenic caves in all their glorious basking of sunlight as darkness creeps over the Little Cove.

It was a beautiful start to a long weekend.  Today we sail the high seas out to Flowerpot island for the five hour hike across their treacherous trails. Stay tuned for more details and pictures as Pirate B conquers the north.   In the meantime here's a few mobile samplers.

Redpath Toronto Water Front Festival Set 4

Arise young one

Time to arise and get this roadtrip underway.   Heading up to Tobermory once I get my kinetic energy going.  Currently situated outside of Collingwood as driving 5 hours last night to spend two hundred bucks to sleep didnt seem feasible when I have a free bed here.  Planning on taking in some hiking this afternoon over at Flowerpot Island.  Should make for some cool pictures along with the sunken ships in the crystal blue waters of Big Tub Harbour.  Time for Popeye to eat his spinach stay tuned to  Tumblr  for instagram updates (signal pending).  Have a satisfying Saturday!!

Week in Review

Busy weekend and last few days, Bloggin B always has lots of projects on the go.  Looking forward to this weekend as there isn't too much going on.  So last weekend I attended two big events: Midnight Madness and Rib-fest.  Pictures from both events will be posted early next week as I'm still trying to catch up from the posts I am lagging on since my vacation.  I also spent most of Saturday afternoon at a photo shoot for a friend who will be shaving his rock star long hair as a fundraiser for cancer, a noble cause to support.

Between full-time life, the blog and my photography I am finding my schedule quite pressed.  Time management is not my specialty.  Plus Bloggin B is trimming the fatness and will be bringing skinny back.  So far I have been sticking to the plan.  Last time I updated was on day 10.  Its now been 17 days since I've had a cigarette and I can count on my left hand how many drinks I've had.  I'm sticking to the routine of working out 3-4 days a week and keeping up daily cardio but it does cut into my work time so I am working out the schedule.

Last week I began two new sections of the blog one being Week in Review which you are pa-rousing the second  Mobile Gallery which is a compilation of pictures I have taken on the go via cell phone.  In videos we had a teaser from the upcoming Mississauga International Film Festival as well a clip from Marvel's latest One Shot film to be featured on the Blue-Ray release of Avengers.  We also had an in depth look at the Batmobile in the short documentary released prior to the Dark Knight Rises' opening night.  I watched D.K.R. on Sunday and will share some thoughts on the film in a post later this week.  Along with the new Batman came the first teaser with two different voice overs  for the new Superman film Man of Steel; Trailer 1  Trailer 2

I posted the first three sets of pictures from the Toronto WaterFront Festival.  They can be viewed here:
Set One, Set Two, Set Three.  The remainder of the pictures will be uploaded this week.  And last but not least in case you missed the Photo's of the day I have uploaded them below.  Just click on the picture to view the full size.

Lots of posts coming up this week.  Stay tuned and thank you for the continued support.  Blogging B's first year anniversary i s today as well I've so busy I almost forgot.  Check out my first post.  Keep an eye out for an upcoming give away.  We like to celebrate and give stuff away not sure what it will be but I will announce shortly.  Goodnight.

Old TTC ads

Here's an interesting article from the neighbourly blog : BlogTo .  They have dug up from the Toronto archives old TTC ads  dating back to the 40's.  Its actually kind of interesting to see the prices of some of the products being advertised.  Have a  look.
