Week in review.... August 14th 12

The weeks are getting busier as the summer slowly comes to an end.  The next few weeks mark the end of an era in my life as my parents have sold the family home.  People keep asking how I feel about it and to be honest I don't have any particular feelings towards it either way.  I am more happy than anything for my folks as they are becoming a couple again which is a natural part of the evolutionary process.  I look forward to the times ahead and will remember with fondness the memories.  With this in mind I have been trying to keep up the posting which may at times seem a little scarce (working on that).

Last week I began writing about my aquarium, which unintentionally I had stopped doing.  I have been fighting one of the worst plagues of aquariums next to snails (in my humble opinion) : Black Algae.  So with that in mind I have begun to rebuild the tank removing the infested plants, rocks and wood.  My Rock Shrimps and loaches aren't particularly happy with me right now but they will be once I have upgraded their living quarters.

Other posts of interest are Not Quite Friday Thursday which is nothing other than Bloggin B's ranting about random happenings and his upcoming website development.  Hope you have a great week.  Cheers!!!

And in case you missed it here's a recap of the Photo's of the Day :

Week in review.... August 7th 12

Its always nice to have an extra day on a weekend.  We had our Civic Holiday yesterday making this past weekend a long weekend, not that you actually get any more rest than usual, more like less due to the fact that you psychologically convince yourself that you have more time so you pack your schedule with more activities... but hey it was longer anywho.  Lots of Movie Trailer posts over the last few days with the upcoming Film Festival (TIFF).  I can't re post them here otherwise this synopsis will be twenty pages long.
Two weekends ago I traveled to Tobermory, a beautiful location in North Western Ontario re-known for its clear blue water.  I posted several pictures throughout the trip and they can viewed with 4 commentaries recorded along the way.  Arise Young One,  At the Mory,  Blue Lagoon, Tuesday is Monday.

I also upload the fourth set of pics from the Toronto Waterfront Festival along with some pics from Mississauga's Irie Fest.

Also Bloggin Blodgett passed the one year mark and discussed goals and learning curves.  Still to be announced is the one year anniversary give a way.  Stay tuned and have a great remainder of the week!

Here's a recap from last weeks' Today's Pic :

Week in Review

Busy weekend and last few days, Bloggin B always has lots of projects on the go.  Looking forward to this weekend as there isn't too much going on.  So last weekend I attended two big events: Midnight Madness and Rib-fest.  Pictures from both events will be posted early next week as I'm still trying to catch up from the posts I am lagging on since my vacation.  I also spent most of Saturday afternoon at a photo shoot for a friend who will be shaving his rock star long hair as a fundraiser for cancer, a noble cause to support.

Between full-time life, the blog and my photography I am finding my schedule quite pressed.  Time management is not my specialty.  Plus Bloggin B is trimming the fatness and will be bringing skinny back.  So far I have been sticking to the plan.  Last time I updated was on day 10.  Its now been 17 days since I've had a cigarette and I can count on my left hand how many drinks I've had.  I'm sticking to the routine of working out 3-4 days a week and keeping up daily cardio but it does cut into my work time so I am working out the schedule.

Last week I began two new sections of the blog one being Week in Review which you are pa-rousing the second  Mobile Gallery which is a compilation of pictures I have taken on the go via cell phone.  In videos we had a teaser from the upcoming Mississauga International Film Festival as well a clip from Marvel's latest One Shot film to be featured on the Blue-Ray release of Avengers.  We also had an in depth look at the Batmobile in the short documentary released prior to the Dark Knight Rises' opening night.  I watched D.K.R. on Sunday and will share some thoughts on the film in a post later this week.  Along with the new Batman came the first teaser with two different voice overs  for the new Superman film Man of Steel; Trailer 1  Trailer 2

I posted the first three sets of pictures from the Toronto WaterFront Festival.  They can be viewed here:
Set One, Set Two, Set Three.  The remainder of the pictures will be uploaded this week.  And last but not least in case you missed the Photo's of the day I have uploaded them below.  Just click on the picture to view the full size.

Lots of posts coming up this week.  Stay tuned and thank you for the continued support.  Blogging B's first year anniversary i s today as well I've so busy I almost forgot.  Check out my first post.  Keep an eye out for an upcoming give away.  We like to celebrate and give stuff away not sure what it will be but I will announce shortly.  Goodnight.

Week in review.... July 16th 12

After returning from a nice vacation it was time to get back to business at Bloggin Blodgett.  Well there are several changes in the works some which I referenced in Updating the Profile.    I have also decided to create a new category of blog entries which will be entitled "Week in review".  These posts will highlight the entries from the past week in case you miss any.   Throughout the week I commented on my new fitness plan and getting my health back in shape.   Garage Talk has resumed and will be posted as frequently as it occurs in between me and my amigos busy schedules.

This week in trailers we saw an in depth look at the Dark Knight Rises.  A prequel of sorts for the Wizard of Oz : Oz The Great and Powerful.  We saw another Batman trailer featuring a combination of footage from the trilogy, a capsule trailer if you will.

In technology I posted two videos which if you are looking at purchasing the new Samsung Galaxy S3 you should take a look at.

And last but not least here is a recap of some of the pictures of the day.  Stay tuned for posts on my vacation expeditions, the Water Front Festivals, Irie Fest and much more.
