Today's Photo: Huff

I'll Huff and I'll puff and take your photo.  Taken at the Meaford Scarecrow Fest, which unfortunately I may be missing this year, is a nice little way that the Town of Meaford (located 30 minutes west of Collingwood) rings in the Autumn and Thanksgiving Season.

Today's Photo: Fashion Friday

Here's a little something for the ladies.  I think I'm going to feature something along these lines every Friday.  We'll call it Fashion Friday's.

Today's Photo: Hot Off..

Hot Off: Once September rolls around everything seems to begin to slowly change. Kids are off to school, people are back to work, traffic increases, everywhere seems like its under construction, animals are running around abundantly collecting for the winter, and the harvest crops of mums, squashes and pumpkins can be seen everywhere. It is fall! Up in the North we're having an Indian Summer it appears. But rain or shine, snow or dry the barbecue is always ready for a grill. Personally I cook all year. Are you an all year griller or do you pack up the BBQ once the leaves start to drop?

Today's Photo: Reach

Reach: This was taken at a photo shoot I did recently for a kids 1st birthday. The event was held at a kids playground which had a mini climbing wall. They had no fear trying to reach the top. Neither should we. Never give up! Always work to be the best in all you do.

Today's Photo: Benedictine Platter

Breakfast: The most important meal of the day.

Taken at the Queens Landing in Niagara On the Lake where I attended an awards weekend a couple years ago. A beautiful hotel with great gardens and scenery. They had a fantastic Eggs Benedict breakfast. What is your favorite breakfast meal?

Today's Photo: Ambiance

Ambiance: This photo was taken while out for a night walk on Ocean Drive in South Beach, one of my favorite US destinations. The lighting from the restaurant was a bright green and gave a nice hue upon these beverages which you could find on the tables of most patrons eating along the strip.

Today's Photo: Nectarous

Nectarous:

Whenever I stop for Ice Cream my cone preference is the Waffle Cone. I love the chocolate and the sprinkles are magical.

What is your favorite type of cone?

Better yet what's your favorite ice cream in your favorite cone?

Todays Photo: Indistinct

This picture was taken on a very windy day with a low shutter speed. The lack of clarity is visible when magnified demonstrating a blurred effect in the final result. Often times our lives are the same way. A little wind comes about and offsets the focus in our viewfinder. Lack of clarity can lead us to making bad choices or not seeing when is the right time to take our finger off the pulse. Both patience and stepping back to wait for the right moment are essential to capturing a good photo or making a solid choice. I feel inspired by this picture and am sharing with you. Do the same for someone in your life.

Today's Photo: Breaktime

Some photos just speak for themselves.  Its payday for some of us up here in the North.  After paying all the bills how do you pay yourself?  Or better yet how do you treat yourself?

Today's Photo: Momentum

Momentum: One of the most amazing waves I have encountered in my travels. This photo was taken about 7 years ago during a trip to San Diego. California has these wind storms at times that generate some get surf waves. There were a number of surfers at the beach that day.

On a more personal note this trip was a milestone in my life where I made some major decisions which have changed the course of my life. This picture signifies to me not only those changes which have not only bettered my life but also represents a big stepping stone for me, that being one of the first times I stepped outside my comfort zone and challenged myself to some Landscape and Street Photography. In turn this trip began my 7 year (on going) journey to become a photographer.

Today's Photo: Surf

There's nothing like being out on the water in the Caribbean Sea.  I love tropical beaches and this shot captures the clearness of the water on a mid summers afternoon.

Today's Photo: Green-Eyed Bandit

Green-Eyed Bandit: One of the trickiest creatures I find to photograph is Dragon Flies. I'm sure there are others (hummingbirds come to mind) but the dragonfly's restlessness and constant fluttering of their wings often require a bit of patience along with a good shutter speed. This was taken on a particularly windy day which made for a nice challenge to get.  Don't forgot to follow Tresta Studio  Instagram for more daily posts or visit them on  Facebook.

Today's Photo: The Lines

The Lines: I don't often think of Canada being indigenous to swamps but every now and then I stumble upon one in the most unexpected places. I found this little stretch of the Hayesland Swamp which is located just north of the town of Dundas. It is the lower part of a much bigger swamp just outside of Carlisle. One of the things I love about swamp photography is the reflections.

Today's Photo: The Knot

The Knot: We're mid into June and with all the summer festivities from Waterfront Festivals to Food Trucks to Movies under the Moon, we are also well into wedding season. This was one of the first weddings I filmed. I decided to snap a few shots of the early morning preparations before the ceremony as an extra. Its always nice to see the details that often are overlooked on such busy yet joyous days

Today's Photo: A Quiet Moment

A Quiet Moment:  I took this photo prior to a photo-shoot I did over the weekend for a beautiful couple who are expecting their first child in less than a month.  It was early morning when we did the shoot and the coffee was still hot off the pot.  I thought the title appropriate considering their life is about to get a little louder in a beautiful way.

Today's Photo: Shocking

Shockwave is probably one of the best Transformer villains of all time. This figure from the Dark of the Moon toy line is both intriguing and menacing at the same time.
