A taste of Brazil Bakery

Busy week as the renovations are slowly coming to a close. Really happy about that. I am looking forward to getting back to a regular routine around the living quarters. But the fun is only beginning as anyone who has moved knows that preparing the house for staging is just as tedious as the renovations themselves.   While much of the belongings are making their way into boxes and storage bins (I've been to every storage bin sale you can think of) over the past month, it still seems like there is a lot to do.  But life can't be all work so as usual this past Sunday Bloggin B ventured out to sample some of the wide variety of foods Mississauga has to offer.  Originally I had planned to track down perogis and cabbage rolls but I was passing by Brazil Bakery and said you know what I've never been in here.  So off I went to sample a few of their menu items.

The Apple Strudels (pictured left) are really really good.  Definately would go back to pick up some more of those.  Also the veal sandwich with cheese, mushroom and onion sauce for 4.95 is a reasonably priced sandwich.  The onions were a little chunky in the sauce but a good veal sandwich all around.  I also picked up some fresh coffee which is on the lighter side.  Not a big coffee drinker but I like mine more like an expresso.  Preference is preference.

So if you are in the neighbourhood of Erin Mills drop by and check them out sometime.  They have a nice selection of pasteries.  They have big macaroons also, who doesn't like macaroons?  Friendly and upbeat staff also helps make a little sit in joint all the more enjoyable.
